About the Book

Nicki drops his white mitten in the snow without realizing that it is missing. Woodland animals crawl in one by one, starting with a curious mole, then a rabbit, a badger, and others, each larger than the last. As the story comes to a close, we see a big brown bear being followed by a tiny brown mouse, which makes for a hilarious climax.
