It’s May and you know what that means. It’s time to get caught reading! You may have seen some of your most beloved celebrities and book characters post pictures of themselves getting caught reading. This is a pretty popular occurrence during May, Get Caught Reading Month!
Get Caught Reading is an annual celebration that promotes the joy and benefits of reading. It’s a fun way to encourage children to develop a love for reading, and emphasizes the excitement and pleasure of being absorbed into a good book. Let’s dig into some ways to promote a fun reading experience.
Get everyone in on the fun! Make it a family, school wide, or neighborhood event. Choose a book to read together as a family and set aside time to discuss the story, characters, and themes.
