Wilson Bentley was fascinated by snow throughout his childhood and adulthood. Each time he saw a tiny crystal of a snowflake, he wanted to know more about it. To develop his enthusiastic curiosity, he received a camera and microscope from his family. Wilson patiently photographed and cataloged hundreds of snowflakes over the years. Later in life, he presented on and published a book about this collection. We now know the intricacies of snowflakes because of his passion and curiosity.
