  • write about character traits.
  • compare and contrast professions.
  • complete a Frayer model.
  • analyze a story quote.
  • learn about engineers.
  • play an engineering game.
  • design a flying machine.
  • respond to and reflect on discussion questions and writing prompts. 

A variety of activities can be used to differentiate instruction, offer students a choice, or focus on a particular skill.
